	Cooley/Voigt Take 1st Place Honors at the 2009 International Tactical Riflemen Championship. Bennie Cooley & Mike Voigt again proved that experience and hard work pays off during the challenging D&L Sports 2009 International Tactical Riflemen Championship in Gillette, Wyoming in August. Cooley and Voigt were among 27 two-man teams participating in this year's event. The primary goal of the ITRC match is to provide a safe proving ground for modern riflemen and their equipment. Lessons learned from this practical exercise will provide knowledge to advance our field proficiency. Consisting of three individual courses-of-fire and one team vs. team event, the ITRC match was held in the rugged high desert terrain of Eastern Wyoming. Not only were the competitors required to be proficient with their carbines, long-range rifles, pistols and sighting systems, they also had to master the physical challenges of the environment and communicate effectively with one another under time constraints.
