Bennie Cooley, Jr. has been a member of the Special Operations Division located at the Department of Energy in Idaho for over 20 years with experience in Counter Terrorism and SWAT training and has cross-trained with various agencies to include Specialized Military Units, FBI, Local Law Enforcement, other DOE contractors and Civilian personnel.

Bennie has served on the board of directors for the Mountain States Tactical Officers Association, and has twice received their Excellence Award for winning the National SWAT Team Championship in Gainesville Georgia.

Bennie has received two World Class Quality Improvement Awards for his leadership and training of personnel. He is recognized for his outstanding ability to instruct and develop individuals in Combat Shooting, and Hostage Rescue Operations. Bennie is also a Three Time SOF 3-Gun World Champion, and a Five Time USPSA 3-Gun Limited National Champion to include the 2004 Nationals. He has won over 38 major competitions in his shooting career. In addition to his training, Bennie is the producer of one of the most advanced self-defense training videos available today Fighting Mindset I and Fighting Mindset II "Home Solutions". Bennie has also developed for C.R.T.C.  three new self defense videos, "Strike-Force Series" which specialize in firearm take-away tactics and personal methods of self defense.
