This three (3) day 20 hour course is specifically designed to enhance each students ability and understanding of self defense with the use of a handgun. Within this course we will also provide each individual with the necessary skills to handle a handgun safely and with confidence while at the home, office or range. Basic shooting techniques will be taught with more advanced techniques introduced as the students progress. Students will also receive specialized training in recognizing possible confrontations and avoiding them, or dealing with the confrontation when necessary.
In this course you will learn:
Deadly Force Guidelines - This area will cover the legalities of using a firearm for Self Defense and how the "Continuum of Force" is applied for dealing with a threat. In addition you will learn the laws that govern the purchase of a Concealed Weapons permit in your state and the red tape involved in acquiring one.
Mental Conditioning - This training will cover the proper mind set that an individual will need to survive a lethal confrontation whether you are in a gunfight or being held hostage. In addition, it will also cover how to avoid these types of situations by recognizing potential threats before they happen.
Human Nature - Each student will be taught about human nature, how to control it, and use it to improve their shooting. Students will also learn how to understand and focus their emotions when shooting in self defense situations. By understanding each of these, the student will be able to control and perform to their highest ability.
